American Hygienics Corp No.1360 Huqingping Rd. Oriental Pearl Garden Suite #: 818-8 Floor Shanghai, China Tel: 86-21-59881660 Fax: 86-21-59881483 Email: [email protected] Web: www.rainbowfame.cn For the past 27 years, the company has been part of Malabo Group, a Taiwan-based enterprise, and has been involved in the hygiene business since 1998. AHC has experienced radical business growth since its start and is committed to meeting the demands of the international market. Capitalizing on the four key concepts of strength, efficiency, innovation and productivity, AHC has created a strong presence in OEM manufacturing. Approximately 90% of AHC’s business is generated from the sale of nonwoven hygiene products. These are being exported around the world, to regions including the U.S., the U.K., Australia, South Africa, Europe, the Middle East, West Africa and other countries. The company attributes its sales and earnings to two key factors—innovation and new product development. AHC has continued to make strides in the development of next-generation, eco-friendly, biodegradable baby diapers, sanitary napkins and wipes that incorporate highly eco-friendly raw materials recognized by various international agencies. AHC’s aim is to make hygiene products that are 100% eco-friendly and bio degradable, following a growing awareness of environmental issues in China. The company plans to launch its eco-diapers by mid-March 2008. The raw material being used in the product is expected to be less petroleum-based and more bamboo fiber-based, along with biodegradable film and eco-friendly SAP. AHC has already launched its 100% biodegradable and flushable hand sanitizing wipes, which offer 99.99% germ-killing effectiveness. Thanks to top-notch innovation and customer service, AHC has achieved a strong presence in the OEM manufacturing sector in the Far East. Private label export expansion has been an important growth driver, with an average of 30% annual growth per year. The company is the second largest manufacturer of wet wipes in China “We are totally committed to the concept of next-generation green hygiene,” explained Kalpesh Parmar, director. “We will be launching bio-based feminine hygiene pads in the near future.” He added that, in response to its growing business, AHC has ventured into a new, state-of-the-art plant for nursing pads, which are mainly supplied by producers in the U.S., the U.K. and Singapore. “This has made our product a best seller in Australia,” Mr. Parmar remarked. Wrapping things up, the company’s marketing director, Paul Chandrachur, had this to say: “Certainly success is the goal, but AHC is committed to long-term support of the industry’s demand, both traditional and green.” In addition to green products, AHC produces traditional, polyester-based, cloth-like baby and adult diapers, ensuring a one-stop shop with the philosophy of providing a complete hygiene solution. “A strong relationship with clients, new product development and launch consulting services and design support are additional services provided to all our valued clients,” he said.
